Typeface

I made this typeface form this part of the map nearby there the journey will be taking place.  This area is close to midway in the journey.  

The idea could be to have the journey type around and around as to showcase how long this would take and that no one would want to do it. but it looks quite a childish look soo... maybe not. the line of it is way too similar to how letters look when you are three. This typeface would have to be used in a purely typographic but it would not showcase the idea all that well.

This idea for a typeface is based on using the typeface Gotham and cutting off parts that are taken from the route that you would have to walk if you want the quickest way. There is minor trimming to the typeface. This creates a bit more movement, but with the plan for the other typefaces on

this map, it might be smarter with a cleaner typeface as it would be less distracting. 

As to incorporate the route in a visible way this typeface has the route just running through it, the typeface is based on Radikal having the line run through it creates an image of hills which illustrates the walk quite nicely, the problem with this one is that it would work better as a logotype and not a body text typeface as it would be inconvenient with lines trough it when it comes to showcasing a large amount of information.
