i had this idea to laser cut the cover so that you can see the story behind it, I also had an idea that I could rasta one of them flipped so I could emboss with it. the issue with that is that I ideally wanted to collect the letters cut out but they were too small so they fell down in the hexagon sheet in the machine. 

the kiss cut is too close to invisible so that would only work if I don't want the title to be legible at all. what would be sick is the entire book cover could be cut out and rasta-ed in the fold so it was one sheet of something, but there are limitations for what you can put in the laser cutter, as anything that is that bendable would not be allowed as it would need to have some amount of rubber in it.

The rastaed title work quite nicely as you can read it without getting the burn marks you get when you cut through it at least when you cut out of the backside of the mountboard.
