print and trim

after printing on Friday for about an hour I got the final pages, i spent the Saturday aligning the tracing paper so that they would not be aligned using the electric guillotine was a bit terrifying but it workes like a charm.  This whole process would be easier if the bookbinding room was available at more times.

I re-edited the belly bind so that it would not be as dark as the blue one on its own if I could dedicate more time to this I would probably screenprint the blue belly band with white ink. bit the blue is a reference to the colours inside the book without being in your face or dark and gloomy.

after folding up three attempts for the cover one finally worked right. it is about a 1 mm overhang and the right amount of space for the spine.

the alignments of the images and designs are as close as I think I can get them, I hope I never have to or make myself aligning that many elements.

I found out that the page "numbers" are slightly higher up than they should be but at this point, I better just acknowledge this and move on. I should have checked it but mistakes happen.
