I made a stencil of the packaging so that I could figure out how I go by the first stencil made was the full box cutting out all the little dots for the braille and the logo and the Plus and minus. Are used the stencil to deboss the packaging outcome what's a very faint and you can not see any of the Braille which is an issue as it has to be tactile. Not even the logo showed up before I put six sheets of paper underneath and rolled it through five times. I therefore figured that I have to create an embossing template to use instead. The issue here is that when I laser cut the braille falls through, and when I rasta it does not show up, and it just makes the page dirty. I have therefore tested whether if I can poke it by hand. Initially I tried with an awl, but that unsurprisingly poked a hole thrugh the paper. I therefore attempted to wrap a pen in clingfilm and pocket with that and using this method I did not poke through it, but I did manage to miss all other intended placements. Seeing as placement it's important in braille this would not work. I think I’ll talk to Dom or someone else later.
I also attempted to make Braille in another way by adding substances to the paper attempt was with superglue this worked fine for the first two, but after that it'll want mashed together. Therefore tried clear nail polish what better then the superglue but I don’t think that it would be easy to read for someone that needs braille.
The papers there tested could possibly emboss nicely even though it did not work Great with this stencil. I fully Believe that one of them would work. My current favourite is the grey one as it has more personality and the clean white ones, it also folds nicer than the others as previously tested.
