they suggested adding a coloured background to incline people to change the settings.

I don't think that it is necessary effective as if you click in the top corner you can get all of the possible changes you can make.

they also suggested to use yellow to make people change the colour, but I think that it might deter people from using the app, as some of the existing apps are a bit too gimmicky and the people that I have tested the different apps on have said that they wouldn't bother with doing anything about it. Yellow does not have many ties to the theme either so I can try it but it feels a bit weird already.

they said to showcase the blue colour of the design more, so lighten it.

they also suggested having the front cover be more cohesive
with putting it all in the same colour pallette, ill try to make a black and white and one with a blue tint of it I think as to reference the colour of the app.
