Interesting artists

      Paula Scher

Scher is an American graphic designer, painter. She is said to be one of the most influential people in the graphic. she is known as "master conjurer of the instantly familiar,". Scher is known to walk the line in between pop culture and fine art in the work. She works with an iconic, smart and accessible tone of design. She is the first female principal at the art agency Pentagram in 1991. in the Netflix episode of Abstract about graphic design. there you can really see how her brain works with design, that is something that I find truly inspiring. She is known for the branding for the public theatre, where she is ever evolving their design. within the later years, she has become known for more artistic work as her maps in addition to the Pentagram work she does.

Jessica Walsh

Walsh is a New York-based designer that worked as an intern at Pentagram, she turned down a job at Apple to do that internship under Paula Scher. In 2016 she and Timothy Goodman did a project called "12 Kinds of Kindness" that project seems so inspiring.
Walsh works mostly with blending handcraft, photography, and painting with digital design. She usually works with branding, typography, website design and art installation. She usually works in a quite bold style with emotionally and provocative undertones. She has the tendency to dabble in surrealistic undertones. She is currently a partner at creative agency Sagmeister & Walsh, and she teaches design and typography at the school of visual arts in New York.

         Christopher Wool

Wool is an artist known for his abstract painting but in addition to that, he makes stencil-based art. his work with typography is simplistic and simple, but it is impactful and organized. he workes tightly within grids, which I also have done inspired by Wool. Wool started with his typographic after seeing graffiti on a white truck in the 1980s. according to the ever trusty Wikipedia he usually uses alliteration in his work and you usually you have to read his work out loud to understand it. He chops off word so it might be a bit difficult to read.
