I and Sam are to work on the poster and we started with discussing what we absolutely needed in the poster. so I started with doing some rough sketches of layout, but it was difficult to figure out that before we have the idea for the map part. Whilst I tried that Sam had made these sketches of different paths that we could use in the design, We worked together a bit so that we could incorporate some of our agreed upon elements. as exes and circles so that we had some hand made ones. In order to add a slight texture to them to the lines, we had decided on using a brush pen so we would get the different effect then we would get with a sharpie or pen. 

After uni, there were some elements designed by the others along with some elements that I have created. The exes filled with the square pattern overlaying it with the map made. The use of colour blocking inspired by OK-RM's work with the campaign 'under the same sun' as to use the overlay effect to its highest effect. Their work with colour blocking created an interesting and interactive feel to the design and high energy. 

With this element consisting of yellow circles and the blue squares to establish a third colour with mixing the two colours. The use of the pattern makes the design get a contemporary feel to it as the circles are clean and the use of bright colour is something often found in contemporary design and most of the work found on Its nice that like Ghazaal Vojdanis work for When Legacies Become Debts. She says that she focuses on international independent galleries and educational institutions in her work. for the work in question, she produced a publication and wall hangings which is elements we have to produce in some form in this brief. in this project, she has worked to link the artists to contemporary design. 

Taking inspiration from the stippled lines in the treasure map this pattern was made as to have some contrast within the poster this idea was developed so you would have both the hand made lines and the digitally produced design. 

As to draw some attention to the date and time I put an x over it as that is the time where the "treasure" will be there at that time.
