pharmacy box development

Before the new size
as the type only taking up two-thirds of the back. Even though the type works it doesn’t look considered and does not go with the rest of the design. Seeing us up to three sides references and medical or technological packaging. Seeing as I was going to change the size of it any way I did not bother to do much more with it. I feel like the sides of the box work bacillus stations are simple and clean with a black line it goes with the type of packaging. Cancel feel I can wonder logo is embossed it would make sense as a whole, combining the braille within bossing and that the rest of the cope on the box.
After resizing the box. I finished the Braille along the bottom of the box, since that is the placement of where braille usually is found on medical packaging. Elements on the front of the box it's based on prescription labels, hence why there is a warning that this is not a toy since the content is a remote. The logo is embossed so to allow anyone picking up the box to feel logo seeing as this product this made for people with various sense problems.  Seeing as I’m inspired by prescription labels I added the patient snd age that to the box asked to reference how it be written if you got the prescription. In addition to that this is also a short instruction on the front to hint at how you would use it. The Braille along the bottom does not need to be completely visible seeing as the reader needing it it's probably blind. So that it goes over the bar code is not an issue, and it does not cover all the pets scanning the barcode should not be an issue either. For the right side of box I decided to reference how the controller would be used assets meant to be simple and for all people it's simply a plus and minus button for all the senses. I also developed a bit further with the back cover of it as the sizes smaller if the back cover fills up more of the space with the type, which allows a bit more play with the typesetting as it needs to be a bit more controlled. The side with a plus and minus button also has additional information now about the remote. So that it does not take up the space on the back as the right side of the box is dedicated to the controller it had more of purpose on that side of the box then on the back. The top of the box is now in braille so that when someone blind browsers through isle would be able to find themselves, this would probably give a sense of freedom.

Basing it on what's already been created I started altering some small bits such as tilting to type on the remote side 90° to allow the box to have more of a flow and also reference how the remote would be laid out with the symbol in the middle and plus and minus on each side. The top of the box is now referencing the front of the box a bit more with the brill and the name of the brand on top in addition to the number which is referencing the five senses. I feel like this is a bit too cluttered on top, and will therefore have the simple Braille on top of the box seeing as everyone else will be able to read the front. I feel like the 90° of the controller Side works better than the previous one.Im I am not sure however whether I like an outline of the plus and minus. I might emboss it when I and emboss the logo and the braille.

stock
Seeing as this is packaging first and foremost I decided to spend some time exploring Materials. I've already tested for types of paper what the main issue has been that is either too sterile too much of a yellow tint or simply not sturdy enough.  I therefore to check to Cassart, to explore some paper stocks.

The first one have a nice shade of white but I feel like it might be a bit to clean again in a similar way to the white card.

The second one was made with the Pearl grey 135 GSM from the library. I do like the colour but it is far too flimsy for packaging in addition two it having  a slightly worn texture to it  that its doesn’t need period. I also feel that with the texture it seems more home-made than it should with a client

This next paper it's about 300 GSM which makes it sturdy. And keep the paper in mind for another project but for this it’s a bit too yellow toned. It is also fairly difficult to fold so and have to use the crease Machine for all other sides just to be able to make it into a box.

The fourth version is slightly thinner than the previous one and is slightly more white which makes it a bit more suitable, the main issue this is yet again it's just a bit to hospital-like. But it is a contender

The fifth one is hundred 150 GSM it is a bit more flimsy the last two. It’s a nice paper but when going against the grain it is still quite difficult to fold nicely

In order to test some suggestions from my peers, I tested this yellow colour, which is another 135 GSM paper. This test was mostly for the colour the colour yellow was chosen so two reference supplements that mostly all the people take on a regular basis so to build some trust to the brand. Would you trust from older people it would allow the band to create clientele that would spread the word to other people that we need this product.

The last paper that I’ve decided to test is this light grey 200 GSM paper, this stock this is not sterile is sturdy enough to keep its shape and protect the contact which is the point of the box. The stock it's not patterned like the peal grey paper I was not asked textured some of the others, this would hopefully allow for a nice print and embossing.
