fix poster with date and time
make a folding pattern for the invite
make invite
take photos
figure out the presentation
Because we had not thought of the invitation because of the stress of the typeface and screenprinting. Therefore
because we managed to overlook that the poster did not have the time or date on it I added that today in the typeface that was made yesterday. It was just a quick fix but if we are to be picked that have to be changed. but at least it is on there. it might be cool if the numbers are to be placed in a similar fashion to the tags for the exhibition.

Invite
I had an idea of having the invite folded like a map so to explore some different versions we could make I made all of these versions as this would determine how the design would be. I asked my group on which they thought would work the best and we agreed on making the bottom right one as it was not as complicated and it did translate into being a map without being obvious. at this point sam showed up late and I set him to do this so that me and Shamita could go through the presentation, as he was late I informed him on the decisions that had been made and I believed that he would be able to accomplish this but he ended up leaving and not coming back after a cigarette brake. He made one version before he left. so I made the invitation after I was done with everything else including informing everyone and fixing the poster. I got some help with photographing the poster so that it could go in the presentation which was great.
The idea for the invitation is to have it resemble a wax-seal in that the logotype is to go across the front of it. when you unfold it the location is to be within the second fold there could be some more information there possibly be the information about the exhibition instead but this also works. and Instagram @'s is to be on the back. The poster is supposed to be on the other side of the paper so the people that get it sent to them can hang it up. the idea of the folds would make the photographs of it look great as you can see the work put into it. The invitation would be screen printed but this mockup is made on the photocopier because of time restraints.
The first test worked quite well in terms of the alignment of the lost course but the address was upside down... whoops the concept works quite well though.
In the seccond attempt the text was the right way round but when I trimmed it the folds was a bit too snug and the address was to be seen on the front.
the final attempt was done by the end of the day it is not trimmed on the top as the print was not aligned so that it would not ruin the layout of the poster. The photos were taken by Hajar and modeled by Hannah as I and Sharmita started working on the presentation.
presentation
Sharmita had done a good job with the presentation but there ware some visual inconsistencies that we went through and added some more structure to it. it took some time as we had to find the rest of the group as most of them had despaired... fun times.
