Wednesday

Sam and I had palled to meet up before nine in the print room so that we could get this over with. but he overslept... so I had to start alone, the screen that we had fixed yesterday was not quite right as the @'s were not coming through but some you could read, I got some help from Mike in order to make it print. That worked a bit so we should be able to get a good result.

about nine thirty Sam showed up and I got him to ready the other screen so that we could get the second coat which was great. When we got to printing the yellow finally the colour was not the right colour but i was beyond caring at this point as everything else is digital at his point.

When printin we tested out several types of paper but we discussed that the cartridge paper gave the best effect as it has a slight aged tint without being yellow. The grey is too dark and the crisp white is too bright for the design.

the slight off white gives the design more personality and the texture is just coarse enough so that you can see it without it being in your face and almost looking pixelated. as the watercolor ended up looking. The colour of the paper holds up quite nicely and would work for the invitations too.
the two pictures are used to showcase the design in the two different colours.
